Job Summary

Own and build Quince’s sourcing function for Kitchen and Tabletop home categories, identifying and onboarding new vendor partners from scratch. Lead partner selection, testing, and scaling to improve cost, quality, and speed of product to market, while strengthening supplier operations and capacity planning. Bring open-costing expertise to drive better commercial terms, improve launch hit-rates, remove bottlenecks, and define new processes and SOP for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Scout for regional vendor partners that can manufacture high-quality Kitchen and Tabletop products with fast lead times.
•Pitch, onboard, and evaluate vendor partners using clear criteria for initial tests and scaling if successful.
•Improve partner operations across existing suppliers while expanding a redundant base to strengthen costs, quality, and commercial terms.
•Manage supplier and style-level capacity to keep pace with company growth and scale.
•Use open costing breakdown expertise to build validated cost structures for sourcing negotiations; drive continuous improvement, higher hit-rate launches, and faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in Kitchen and Tabletop categories with high-end national brands in the United States and Europe.
•Provide strategic leadership and act as a role model with strong personal and professional impact.
•Demonstrated ability to self-start and adapt quickly to new challenges.
•Exceptional attention to detail with data-driven decision making and problem-solving.
•Background in supply chain management or operations to build a well-rounded understanding of the retail landscape.
