Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist and execute environmental tests of space flight hardware using specialized equipment.
  • •Install and operate test instrumentation and specialized test equipment such as accelerometers and thermocouples.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, assembly procedures, and test procedures and follow prescribed steps.
  • •Record, prepare, organize, and deliver test data, run logs, and documentation for final test reports.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma
  • •Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a test technician in aerospace or an equivalent industry and/or Trade School training
  • •Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
  • •Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, assembly procedures, and test procedures
  • •Mechanically and mathematically inclined; knowledgeable about computer operating systems and software
