Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise other exempt and non-exempt staff within an assigned shift or department, including oversight of safety and housekeeping/sanitation activities.
  • •Create and achieve short- and long-term strategic and tactical plans for the DC using broad principles, objectives, and standards.
  • •Develop plans to promote team collaboration and accountability to meet performance objectives, and coach direct reports to effectively manage departments.
  • •Allocate equipment and labor resources across departments to consistently meet service levels and budgets.
  • •Leverage maintenance, asset protection, HR, finance, and other support groups to align efforts, analyze performance/trend data, and develop preventative measures that improve productivity.

Key Requirements

  • •Five to ten years of relevant work experience in a distribution center environment.
  • •Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ability to quickly learn systems such as Blue Yonder, Autostore, or Pouch Packing.
  • •Ability to quickly learn end-to-end production floor operations: Inbound, Outbound/Shipping, Dotcom, and Inventory Control.
  • •Ability to delegate and develop exempt leaders and lead large teams up to 300 associates.
  • •Strong analytical abilities, interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of MS Office—especially Excel.
