Job Summary

Lead the UOP Integrated Project Solutions (IPS) group within Sales, overseeing configuration, process consultancy and business development support across refining, petrochemicals and renewables. Drive value for customers through complex configurations, market studies and rapid economic analyses; coordinate with external consultants and internal groups; travel up to 25% to roles in Rosemont, Bracknell and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the department’s process configuration capabilities to improve value creation for customer inquiries, including optimizing offers and developing configurations for ITBs
•Conduct market studies and technology evaluations to quantify industry needs and support technology launches
•Present at conferences on thought leadership in COTC/ROTF and share client-project configuration results
•Drive innovation through development of integration and optimization schemes and capture IP for future monetization
•Manage resources across locations (Rosemont, IL; Bracknell, UK; Saudi Arabia) and liaise with external consultants to enhance configuration studies and bankability analyses

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Chemical Engineering; 15 years of experience in refining or petrochemicals technologies; functional experience in oil refinery operations level Linear Program (LP) Modeling
•Consulting experience in the Refining, Petrochemicals and Renewables space
•Experience in production planning or asset management/strategic planning
•Thought leadership in downstream and emerging areas like crude to chemicals and sustainability
•MBA or equivalent
