Key Responsibilities

  • •Own engineering outcomes for the employee journey across multiple teams, identifying the most important problems and building paths to solve them.
  • •Align Product, Technology, Customer Experience, and go-to-market leaders around a unified employee-journey strategy and clearly communicate tradeoffs, decisions, priorities, and risks.
  • •Lead AI-native product development across the employee journey, turning customer problems into applied-AI experiences with measurable value.
  • •Transform engineering team practices by establishing agentic practices that improve speed, quality, and learning.
  • •Build an engineering leadership team, set technical standards for architecture/quality/reliability/security/privacy, and drive operating mechanisms that resolve dependencies and deliver measurable results.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of software development with 5+ years in a Director-level (or comparable) leader-of-leaders role across multiple SaaS product teams.
  • •Experience independently identifying important, ambiguous problems and owning measurable outcomes across organizational boundaries.
  • •Ability to guide AI-enabled engineering transformation, including knowing where human review remains essential.
  • •Strong product and business judgment, working backward from customer outcomes and making company-level tradeoffs.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
