Job Summary

Maintain and optimize the SAP landscape to ensure performance, stability, and scalability. As part of the SAP Basis team, you’ll administer and monitor SAP systems (installs, upgrades, patching, transports, and tuning) and support overall availability. You’ll also drive data volume management through SAP archiving, define data retention and lifecycle policies, and troubleshoot cross-platform issues across SAP ECC/S/4HANA, databases, operating systems, and SAP BTP integrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer, monitor, and support SAP systems across the landscape, including installations, upgrades, patching, transports, performance tuning, and availability.
•Configure and support SAP data archiving solutions to manage data volumes while ensuring integrity, accessibility, and compliance.
•Define and maintain data retention and lifecycle policies, including data aging, archiving, and purging aligned to SAP best practices.
•Troubleshoot cross-platform issues across SAP ECC/S/4HANA, databases, operating systems, and SAP BTP services as needed.
•Collaborate with ABAP developers, functional teams, and infrastructure partners; provide Basis-level SAP BTP connectivity and integration support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
•3-5 years of experience in SAP analysis, configuration, and deployment.
•Familiarity with SAP data lifecycle management, including data archiving strategies, ILM concepts, and data volume optimization in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
•Strong understanding of SAP database technologies (e.g., SAP HANA) and storage solutions.
•Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA in managed or cloud-based environments (SAP RISE preferred), plus familiarity with SAP BTP concepts and integration support preferred.
