Job Summary

Serve as the key interface between clients and Sonoco’s Studio (printing & graphic teams) for packaging projects in Nantes. Review client requests and files, prepare and optimize print-ready materials for OFFSET and digital BATs, coordinate color learning with printers, validate PDF/BAT conformity, generate required print files, and ensure smooth handoff to plants. Manage digital and paper documentation through the full workflow.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive and review client requests and files in coordination with the Studio and Sales Administration.
•Ensure files are suitable for OFFSET printing, optimizing the number of colors and coordinating their learning with the printer/colorist.
•Create orders and digital/paper job folders, and pass the job package to the infographer with clear instructions.
•Check that PDF/BAT files comply with the order before sending to the client for approval, then coordinate digital printing and client delivery.
•Generate and verify imposed files required by printers, hand off approved elements to plants for printing, and manage filing/archiving.

Key Requirements

•Bac+2 education and at least 5 years of experience in the print/graphic production chain (PAO, colorimetry, printing).
•Experience as a print projects coordinator, prepress operator, or estimator/manufacturer (Deviseur/fabriquant).
•Professional English skills, oral and written, to communicate with English-speaking stakeholders.
•Strong relational skills and comfort managing the client relationship.
•Proficiency with PAO/prepress tools: Illustrator, Acrobat, Artpro, and PackZ.
