Job Summary

Manage legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance for a fast-growing EdTech/SaaS business across Egypt and the MENA region. Draft, review, and negotiate bilingual commercial agreements (Arabic/English) including SaaS, licensing, services, SLAs, partnerships, and NDAs. Provide legal advice on corporate governance and structuring, handle labor/employment matters, coordinate external counsel, and support cross-border due diligence and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate bilingual commercial agreements (Arabic/English), including SaaS, licensing, partnerships, service agreements, SLAs, and NDAs.
•Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including governance, company structuring, and regulatory compliance.
•Support labor and employment law matters in Egypt and coordinate on regional employment matters as needed.
•Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and enable practical, business-oriented decisions.
•Manage legal compliance (including data protection, intellectual property, and licensing) and coordinate with external legal counsel; monitor regulations and support cross-border due diligence and expansion.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
•7–10 years of relevant legal experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or managerial legal role.
•Strong experience in corporate, commercial, and labor law in Egypt.
•Strong experience in the technology sector, preferably SaaS/IT/EdTech/digital services.
•Fluent Arabic and English with strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
