Job Summary

Systems Engineer for Telco/MSSP at Fortinet responsible for pre-sales technical engagement, designing secure network solutions using routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN and NGFW, and guiding customers from proposal through POC. Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with customers to create new Telco/MSSP services/solutions using Fortinet products.
•Provide pre-sales engineering support and technical consultancy to customers.
•Understudy customer requirements and propose security solution designs and implementation solutions.
•Carry out presales activities including proposals, demos, presentations, and tender/document preparation.
•Prepare tender documents and responses to RFPs/RFIs and POCs; deliver product training for Telco/MSSP customers.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of experience in Telco and MSSP space.
•Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals.
•Strong network design skills using Routing, Switching, VPN, SD-WAN and Firewalls.
•Solid knowledge of security technologies such as NGFW, SASE, WAF, ZTNA, EDR/XDR.
•Experience with private/public cloud deployments (KVM, ESXi, OpenStack, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud).
