Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions for mechanical systems and components.
  • •Develop architectures and system components aligned with technical specifications and best engineering practices.
  • •Build and maintain system-level 3D models and 2D technical drawings from those models, including BOMs and kits for manufacturing and integration.
  • •Prepare for and support Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), including comment adjudication and stakeholder reports.
  • •Structure technical data packages and engineering change proposals, and oversee integration, repair, maintenance, and replacement of mechanical systems/equipment onboard the ACV.

Salary: USD 100,640 - 171,394 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Interim Secret clearance required prior to starting, with an active DoD Secret clearance preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering/mechanical engineering technology (or related) and 8+ years of experience.
  • •Proficiency creating 3D models and 2D drawings for components and multi-part assemblies, including sheet metal and complex welded assemblies.
  • •Extensive knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
  • •Familiarity with technical data packages and standards such as MIL-STD-31000 and ASME Y14.100, plus configuration management practices (e.g., engineering change notices, BOM updates, problem reports).
