Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical engineering for product development and sustainment from initial concept through release and market launch.
  • •Act as primary mechanical point of contact, ensuring execution of development, validation, and launch activities.
  • •Innovate, prototype, and test new mechanisms and assemblies for automated inventory control and industrial smart storage systems.
  • •Create detailed mechanical design documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, renderings, BOMs, test specs, and engineering change notices).
  • •Drive engineering analysis, manage technical risks, perform root cause/corrective action, and mentor junior engineers through design reviews and guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (required).
  • •7-10 years of mechanical engineering experience in product development for electromechanical or industrial systems.
  • •Expertise in electromechanical systems and industrial product design, including mechanisms, motion/structural analysis, and design for manufacturability.
  • •Strong sheet metal/rotating assembly and power transmission knowledge (e.g., gearing, bearings, tolerances, GD&T, injection molding, machining).
  • •Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drawings; Creo and Catia strongly preferred, plus PLM tools like 3DX and Windchill.
