Key Responsibilities

•Patch and connect network cabling between equipment and customer network
•Install and route power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet
•Install, troubleshoot and de-install network equipment (switches/routers, etc.)
•Process Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests within service levels
•Perform Layer 1 troubleshooting and support carrier testing of circuits

Key Requirements

•2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a data center environment
•Qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling
•Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe
•Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards
•Must be able to lift heavy objects and work shift hours including nights/weekends
