Key Responsibilities

  • •Patch and connect network cabling between equipment and customer network
  • •Install and route power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet
  • •Install, troubleshoot and de-install network equipment (switches/routers, etc.)
  • •Process Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests within service levels
  • •Perform Layer 1 troubleshooting and support carrier testing of circuits

Key Requirements

  • •2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a data center environment
  • •Qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling
  • •Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe
  • •Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards
  • •Must be able to lift heavy objects and work shift hours including nights/weekends
