Key Responsibilities

•Own and evolve foundational systems for WHOOP Enterprise, starting with Enterprise APIs, authentication, and account management.
•Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that support enterprise use cases and external integrations.
•Collaborate closely with design, analytics, and engineering partners to translate ambiguous product needs into scalable technical solutions.
•Define and influence technical direction, system architecture, and implementation standards for the Enterprise platform.
•Build systems with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, reliability, and correctness, appropriate for enterprise customers

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong foundation in backend development.
•Experience building and owning production backend systems and RESTful APIs (Java preferred).
•Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and identity or account management concepts.
•Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
•Experience designing and operating services in cloud environments (AWS)
