Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice and strategy for significant, complex payments and financial-services regulatory matters across Europe.
  • •Support Ireland and UK management, compliance, and finance teams in building and maintaining relationships with regulators.
  • •Research and analyze effects of quickly evolving regulations in multiple markets, and track upcoming regulatory changes impacting strategic goals.
  • •Liaise and work with outside counsel in the region.
  • •Support business, marketing, and other teams with development of new services and cross-functional relationship building.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to practice law in Ireland or the United Kingdom.
  • •At least 6-7 years of legal experience, including experience advising in the financial services industry.
  • •Experience providing legal advice to evaluate and manage complex payments and financial-services regulatory matters.
  • •Ability to evaluate fact situations, identify legal issues, analyze statutes/regulations, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • •Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to build and maintain effective relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders.
