Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies, and finished goods
  • •Load and unload trailers as required
  • •Pick and pull stock for delivery and organize pallet/storage locations in designated areas
  • •Complete daily forklift inspections and troubleshoot/resolve problems as they arise
  • •Support safety and LEAN initiatives, including 5-S maintenance, visual management tools, layered audits/OEE boards, and Kaizen improvements

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of six (6) months of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting
  • •Valid and current driver’s license
  • •Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends with little advanced notice
  • •Ability to stand on feet continuously during the shift and regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance (occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance)
  • •Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) per company policy and procedure
