Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and analyze new oil and gas leases and contracts, enter updates into computer systems, and maintain lease and contract files.
  • •Update records affected by well completions or well status changes and coordinate with land and division order departments on interest changes.
  • •Review monthly lease obligations and expirations and manage record sets for original leases, contracts, documents, maps, receipts, and correspondence.
  • •Process, route, and monitor AFEs and associated ballots, communicating interest calculations and changes.
  • •Prepare lease and related agreement releases and contribute to development of tools that improve data quality and efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or a related discipline and/or commensurate work experience.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience in leasing, land, land administration, lease records, division orders, land management, title and ownership verification, or a related field.
  • •Preferred experience member of the National Association of Land & Title Analysts (NALTA).
  • •Ability to analyze leases and contracts and maintain accurate land records and contractual obligations.
  • •Demonstrated communication, active learning, digital literacy, business acumen, and innovation.
