Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the on-site SME for data center critical infrastructure, handling escalations across critical systems and supporting facilities.
  • •Manage design limitations and risks for the site, auditing colocation partners and service providers on maintenance programs.
  • •Own the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in the data center.
  • •Serve as first responder on-site for incidents, driving resolution with support from engineering and infrastructure SMEs.
  • •Partner with colo partners, vendors, and internal teams to keep the site reliable and feed operational learnings back into design and process.

Key Requirements

  • •Have operated or led critical-facilities operations in a live data center, owning the physical infrastructure that keeps a site running.
  • •Know the critical-infrastructure stack (power and cooling) well enough to be the on-site authority and handle escalations.
