Key Responsibilities

•Serve as technical lead for the integration of a new Transmitter into an existing radar system.
•Serve as the principal arbiter of the Transmitter requirements and performance, interpreting internal and external customer requirements and objectives, effectively decomposing them into actionable direction for the program team and stakeholders.
•Validate and update the Transmitter requirements, lead the design activity to insert the Transmitter into the existing radar design, and lead the hands-on integration and verification of the Transmitter and the Radar System.
•Coordinate the flight test planning and conduct flight tests in Fullerton and possibly other U.S. test ranges.
•Analyze performance, functional, environmental and other qualification data and conduct customer acceptance testing. Prepare verification procedures and reports.

Salary: USD 118,300 - 224,900

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
•Experience in a technical leadership position
•Experience in requirements analysis and specification
•Experience with System Integration & Test and Verification of hardware and software
•Prior experience in RF transmitters, generators, power supplies, microwave devices, interfaces, cooling methods, reliability, trade studies, radar engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or electrical engineering
