  • •Commission, program, set up graphics, establish communications links, and perform end-to-end testing on assigned projects.
  • •Document point-to-point verification, sequence-of-operations validation, and job closeout requirements.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and provide servicing, diagnosis, and repair of equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • •Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand onsite installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3–5 years of experience with controls systems for HVAC equipment, including commissioning, programming, and 3rd-party integration.
  • •Technical school or formal training preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
