Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across Solar PV and BESS sites
  • •Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safe completion to company standards
  • •Conduct site inspections, testing, and diagnostic fault-finding to identify and resolve performance or availability issues
  • •Support commissioning activities and energisation/testing during project handover for new Solar PV and BESS projects
  • •Maintain HSE compliance and complete maintenance reports, service records, and documentation while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years’ experience in Solar PV, BESS, electrical maintenance, or a similar technical environment
  • •Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent are preferred
  • •Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and monitoring systems
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • •Familiarity with health and safety standards and safe systems of work (including HV authorisation/competency as required)
