Job Summary

Lead the overall program for AECG ASIC product development from initial customer engagement through mass production. As Chief Engineer, provide cross-functional leadership to scope the product and manage engineering and production ramp, ensuring schedule, cost, and quality objectives meet engineering, business, and customer requirements. Drive methodology enhancements, manage multi-discipline teams, assess risks, and make key decisions across architecture, design/verification, power/performance, quality, and system validation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead program scoping efforts during the initial customer acquisition phase.
•Provide cross-functional, matrix management across program management, design, verification, technology, system, product, software, and quality.
•Report regularly to AECG ASIC engineering and business leadership on plan, status, critical decisions, debug, and customer issues.
•Ensure delivery of products aligned to specification across design and development teams.
•Make decision-making commitments for design, process, and integration challenges; identify risk areas and develop mitigation plans to achieve Power, Performance, Area (PPA) objectives.

Key Requirements

•BS or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
•15 years of experience in an ASIC role leading to end-to-end development.
•Experience in a leadership role driving multi-site, multi-disciplined SoC engineering programs.
•Strong understanding of the silicon engineering process (preferably ASIC) from concept to tape-out to production.
•Ability to develop an end-to-end SoC/Platform project plan, execute complex analysis, and communicate findings/recommendations to senior management and customers.
