Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design for telecom systems per project design basis, specifications, standards, and codes.
  • •Prepare and approve detailed design calculations, analyses, and design reports/procedures, ensuring engineering integrity and schedule/budget adherence.
  • •Lead discipline execution: plan, organize, and direct scope, deliverables, schedule, interfaces, and manpower resources; resolve corrective actions.
  • •Represent telecom engineering in meetings and communications with customers, certification authorities, auditors, and third parties; document substantive communications.
  • •Supervise and guide engineers/designers; support procurement assistance and vendor/subcontractor reviews, and provide construction/testing support as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •15–20 years of experience in oil and gas performing predominantly detail design.
  • •Deep knowledge of telecom design techniques, analysis methods, and relevant standards/codes/guidelines.
  • •Preferably registered Professional Engineer or a member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Knowledge of functional safety for HW/SW design and analysis (IEC 61508, IEC 61511).
