Job Summary

Oversee the project Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program for an ADNOC Offshore engagement in Abu Dhabi, ensuring HSE objectives are met through effective leadership and coordination. Drive HSE excellence with visibility from senior project management, engage project leadership teams on HSE systems and procedures, guide and motivate personnel to follow safety policies, and establish risk assessment and governance mechanisms across contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee all aspects of the project HSE program using shareholder expertise and HSE staff resources to support project management and personnel in achieving HSE objectives.
•Drive project HSE excellence with senior project management visibility and involvement, engaging the project leadership team to develop, review, and endorse applicable HSE systems, programs, and procedures.
•Guide, direct, train, and motivate project team members to ensure personal safety and compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE Safety Policy and applicable Abu Dhabi HSE regulations.
•Establish governance for regular Safety Steering Team (SST) meetings and maintain working relationships and communication with ADNOC Offshore Corporate HSE, shareholder counterparts, and major contract companies.
•Implement HSE best practices, develop and implement project-specific Risk Assessment Management System (RAMS), ensure HSE requirements are included in tender packages, review HSE plans from contractors, and ensure HSE kick-off meetings for major contractors prior to or during site mobilization.

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Engineering with minimum of 20 years industry experience, including at least 8 years in project-related activities (Oil & Gas strongly desired).
•Minimum of 10 years of HSE-related experience with at least 7 years supervisory/managerial experience.
•Experience in Process Safety and Construction Safety.
•Experience with brownfield modification.
•Experience in offshore operations in Oil & Gas.
