Job Summary

Safely assist at an asphalt plant by participating in daily safety meetings and following OSHA/MSHA and company safety policies. Help support asphalt production by monitoring the plant during operations, performing daily maintenance pre-checks, and ensuring equipment is maintained and operating properly. Prepare the plant for seasonal start-up, complete end-of-season shut down procedures, operate heavy equipment (front end loader, skidsteer, end dump truck), and support plant repairs, cleanup, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in daily THINK/TRACK meetings and weekly safety meetings.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations and help ensure a safe work environment.
•Assist in plant production by monitoring operations, performing daily maintenance pre-checks, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
•Prepare the plant for operations at the beginning of the season and perform shut down procedures at the end of the season.
•Operate heavy equipment as needed (front end loader, skidsteer, end dump truck) and perform plant maintenance and repairs.
