Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a credible Identity Threat Detection and Response function within Elastic Security.
  • •Model and plan identity coverage for non-human and AI agent identities, including defining behavior standards, ownership, and lifecycle.
  • •Partner with threat research and detection engineering to focus on identity-specific threats such as credential access, privilege escalation, and identity-based lateral movement.
  • •Drive response and containment strategies by turning detections into action using identity-system integrations and automated responses with human oversight.
  • •Collaborate with enterprise customers and the design team to shape investigation and response experiences and integrate identity signals across SIEM and XDR workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for security products such as SIEM, XDR, EDR, identity security, or detection and response.
  • •Strong depth in identity-based attack techniques and identity systems, including Active Directory, cloud identity providers, SSO, OAuth, and privileged access.
  • •Ability to work fluently with non-human identities such as service accounts, workloads, secrets, and AI agents, including understanding why non-human rules differ from human identity rules.
  • •Deep technical fluency in AI/ML concepts including behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, and agentic systems.
  • •Excellent communication skills to translate complex detection engineering and identity concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
