Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve services for the FX platform, delivering new products while automating and enhancing existing functionality.
  • •Design new services and components with the team and engineering leaders using the RFC process.
  • •Coach and mentor less experienced team members to improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
  • •Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery in close collaboration with product and operational teams.
  • •Own the products built, including ongoing maintenance, while contributing to reliability through on-call rotation and incident response.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience developing complex software systems, mainly with Python (or strong comfort with other OOP languages).
  • •Experience in FinTech, banking, or closely related sectors, with understanding of financial systems and regulated environments.
  • •Ability to design and manage services, including standard API development, monitoring/alerting, and integrating external systems.
  • •Comfort working with legacy code and proposing improvements to reduce technical debt backlog.
  • •Testable, well-covered code using unit and integration tests; experience with CI (Jenkins) and infrastructure deployment (Terraform).
