Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own conjugate heat-transfer (CHT) and thermal-fluid analysis for Starmind cold plates, heat exchangers, and radiator channels.
  • •Own the system 0-D/1-D thermal-fluid network to size and balance the cooling loop (flow split, ΔP budget, loop ΔT, pump operating point).
  • •Lead cooling-loop architecture trades with hardware and vehicle-level thermal teammates.
  • •Co-evolve geometry, materials, and processes with hardware owners to develop mass-producible, efficient thermal solutions.
  • •Own pre-test prediction, test design, and model-test correlation, and automate analysis workflows for rerunning trades.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of professional experience in fluids, CFD, or thermal analysis.
  • •Experience with steady/transient conjugate heat-transfer CFD for liquid-cooled or high-heat-flux hardware (e.g., STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent/CFX).
  • •Hands-on hardware testing with instrumentation selection and model correlation.
  • •Proficiency in watertight CFD geometry (e.g., Siemens NX) and/or 0-D/1-D thermal-fluid network modeling for cooling loops.
