Key Responsibilities

  • •Take a lead role in commercial and cost management for major MEP building services and infrastructure projects, ensuring contractual compliance and financial certainty.
  • •Develop and continuously improve cost management procedures, systems, and governance frameworks aligned with best practice and contractual requirements.
  • •Monitor compliance with cost control processes, identify/escalate concerns, and maintain programme-wide cost management strategies and financial reporting.
  • •Manage variations and change control, retention mechanisms, liquidated damages assessments, and monthly cashflow forecasting across multiple MEP work packages.
  • •Support claims, disputes, and commercial negotiations as needed, and lead final account negotiations and commercial close-out activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or subcontractor role.
  • •Experience delivering projects within the aviation sector (or similarly constrained/operationally complex environments).
  • •Degree qualified (BSc or MSc) in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
  • •Professionally qualified on the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland, preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying status with RICS or SCSI.
  • •Excellent IT skills to use digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools.
