Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic and operational HSE leadership across Serco’s Justice contracts.
  • •Partner with Justice Senior Leadership to embed safety behaviors, accountability, and visible safety leadership.
  • •Develop and improve safe systems of work, including incident investigation, risk management, and critical controls.
  • •Lead HSE governance, compliance, assurance, reporting, and audit activities.
  • •Lead environmental compliance and improvement initiatives, and coach/develop HSE capability across operational teams.

Key Requirements

  • •A qualification in Health, Safety or Environment, or related commercial experience.
  • •Strong HSE leadership experience in a complex, operational environment.
  • •Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, and industry best practice, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • •Proven experience leading, coaching, and influencing leaders to improve HSE culture and performance.
  • •Experience leading HSE systems, organizational change, and continuous improvement initiatives.
