Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in designing consumer- and brand-relevant footwear/apparel collection executions through color and materials.
  • •Gather and synthesize insights for seasonal and long-term design direction from trade fairs, cultural/sporting events, press, and market visits.
  • •Assist in creating color design presentations (physical and digital) and running exploratory processes to final solutions.
  • •Create color CADs plus Material Maps & Graphic Maps.
  • •Collaborate with Development to support development process and costing, and help meet seasonal milestone deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Four year college or university degree in industrial, graphic, apparel, or footwear design.
  • •Thorough knowledge of art and design with clear understanding of visual design in a design-related environment.
  • •Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • •Ability to understand design concepts and think conceptually.
  • •Ability to create color and material designs that meet category needs and commercial opportunities.
