Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the full land development project management lifecycle, including municipal servicing and linear infrastructure, from concept through construction and post-construction acceptance.
  • •Deliver engineering solutions for subdivisions and mixed-use sites, stormwater management systems, sanitary and water servicing, roadway geometry, site grading, and utility coordination.
  • •Guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance with municipal, provincial, and regulatory standards.
  • •Oversee approval packages such as technical reports, engineering drawings, planning submissions, zoning applications, and environmental documentation.
  • •Manage project financial stewardship including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, contract administration, and negotiating consultant and contractor agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil Engineering Technology diploma.
  • •10+ years of progressive land development and municipal infrastructure design and project management experience, ideally within Alberta.
  • •Registered (or eligible for registration) with APEGA or ASET in Alberta as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Licensee (Engineering) (P.L.(Eng)), or Professional Technologist (P.Tech.(Eng)).
  • •Proficiency in civil design tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, modeling software, and project coordination platforms.
  • •Project Management Institute PMP certification is an asset.
