Job Summary

Develop early-stage physical design flows for 3D-IC applications, focusing on pre-place-and-route (pre PnR) methodologies rather than implementation or sign-off tools. Work closely with customers to understand design and advanced-node requirements, then collaborate with foundry partners to translate them into advanced software solutions. Build and optimize large-scale data and software infrastructure to support system-level PPA, design ECO, and early-stage optimization flows.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop digital central solutions for 3D-IC applications by translating customer and foundry requirements into advanced software solutions.
•Create early-stage physical design flows, specifically pre-place-and-route (pre PnR) methodology.
•Support system-level PPA, design ECO, and early-stage optimization flows through software design and engineering.
•Collaborate with customers and foundry partners to understand design/advanced-node requirements and align implementations.
•Assess task value, requirements, risks, and trade-offs to execute effectively, working well across teams and independently.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, computational geometry, parallel programming, information theory, and compilers.
•Experience with EDA/CAD tools and desktop applications handling large-scale datasets.
•Familiarity with early-stage physical design flows prior to place-and-route.
•Ability to debug programs with large legacy codebases and work effectively in UNIX/Linux environments.
