Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair, maintain, and install electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to support safe facility operations.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance (P.M.) on company equipment and ensure accurate completion of required paperwork (work orders, P.M., etc.).
  • •Maintain and repair building and facility systems including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, security cameras, lighting fixtures, and water treatment and HVAC components.
  • •Operate, test, repair, analyze, and maintain material-handling equipment and power systems such as UPS/battery systems and diesel generators.
  • •Support technical services by purchasing goods/services (under direction), reviewing contractors, and meeting contractors/suppliers as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or GED; Associates degree in mechanical or electrical technology or five years of related on-the-job experience.
  • •Proficiency in wiring and motor hook-ups, including conveyor assembly and chain/sprocket, belt, and sheave repairs.
  • •Ability to read and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot and repair machinery and building systems.
  • •Experience installing and repairing electro-mechanical components including solenoid air-operated valves, switchgear, hydraulic valves, clutches, and brakes.
  • •Fork equipment operation ability (including yearly Fork Truck certification) and capability to lift and move ~60 lbs.
