Job Summary

Develop architectural drawings, specifications, renderings, and presentation boards for transportation-related projects under the Transportation Facilities Group. Ensure code compliance for new construction and renovations, support local or regional site investigations, and coordinate project work while attending meetings. Work under supervision of a senior architect across a variety of rail, bus, education, airport, and transportation hub initiatives in the NY Metro region.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop architectural drawings and specifications, including renderings and presentation boards.
•Ensure code compliance for new construction and renovations of transportation-related facilities.
•Perform local and/or regional site inspections/investigations of projects.
•Attend meetings and coordinate project work.
•Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making in line with WSP policies and code of conduct.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Architecture with a Masters in Architecture.
•0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.
•Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.
•Understanding of building codes including NY State and NYC Building Codes.
•Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microstation, Adobe Creative Suite).
