Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and develop conceptual, FEED, study, and detail civil/structural design drawings for constructable, consistent presentations.
  • •Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free coordination with other disciplines.
  • •Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per project specifications, MDR, and Level 2 & 3 procedures within schedules and budgets.
  • •Act as a coordinator and technical expert for development/modification of 3D macros applied at E3D/S3D.
  • •Supervise design team members, check designs for interfaces and constructability/HSE, and provide drafting and drawing review support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate with a diploma in Civil or Structural disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • •10+ years with a major contractor or consultant, including 5+ years of oil and gas experience.
  • •Detailed knowledge of industry detailing standards and codes, plus 3D/2D drafting and material control systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
  • •Minimum 2 projects with working and/or review experience in E3D and/or S3D.
  • •Capable of leading projects, including engineering miscellaneous steel and participating in CSA design proposals as an expert.
