Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and deploy resilient, distributed systems for payment tokenization workloads capable of handling 1,000+ TPS with zero data loss and strict low-latency requirements.
  • •Partner with Product Management to shape roadmap and define requirements based on customer pain points.
  • •Lead an AI-integrated SDLC by integrating AI agents into workflows for rapid prototyping, code generation, and automated testing.
  • •Maintain code quality through rigorous code review, comprehensive testing, and automation aligned to engineering standards.
  • •Optimize scale and performance for high-volume payment flows and participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years building high-scale, production-ready microservices in a SaaS environment with Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.).
  • •Proven experience incorporating AI agents and LLM-based tools across the SDLC (e.g., code generation, refactoring, test suite/documentation creation).
  • •Strong hands-on experience building event-driven distributed architectures using SQS/SNS/Kafka or other message brokers for high-volume data streams.
  • •Solid experience with cloud-native microservices, CI/CD and GitOps, APIs/API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS services.
  • •Experience implementing observability (metrics, logging, tracing) using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
