Design and build scalable, reusable data pipelines and platform components that deliver reliable, secure, high-quality data across ASOS. Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers in product teams like Forecasting, Recommendations, Marketing, Customer, and Pricing to improve data accessibility and speed delivery. Drive standards across ingestion, transformation, and serving layers, and advance modern practices such as CI/CD, data quality, observability, and metadata management on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Scala with Spark and PySpark on Azure.
•Develop reusable data engineering templates, frameworks, and tooling to support data teams across ASOS.
•Drive standardisation and best practices across data ingestion, transformation, and serving layers across product domains.
•Enable teams to deliver production-ready datasets through guidance, patterns, and hands-on technical support.
•Implement modern data engineering practices including CI/CD, data quality validation, testing, observability, and metadata management while collaborating with Platform, ML, and Security teams.
