Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a tow truck to provide tow service to customer vehicles on the SAAA parking lot and in different locations as needed, including use of dollies.
  • •Operate a front-end loader to load/unload vehicles for customers and move vehicles around the lot for auction shops.
  • •Properly affix tow truck/front-end loader equipment to prevent vehicle damage or danger, then release vehicles in a safe, immobile manner.
  • •Haul vehicles to directed areas, scan every towed vehicle using the TC75, and assist with towing-related services like jump-starting/lockouts using Lot Vision as appropriate.
  • •Perform routine maintenance checks on tow truck and front-end loader, operate in compliance with safety regulations, and assist with lot operations when not operating the tow truck.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of related work experience, or any degree/certification above a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years, or 7 years of related work experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license required; safe driver needed.
  • •1-3 years of experience driving a service/tow truck or front-end loader required.
  • •Pre-hire physical for DOT medical card and completion of DOT Driver Qualification file.
  • •Adhere to the Vehicle Use Policy; dependent on role, a 5 Panel Drug test may be required.
