Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design engineers to develop new ideas and concepts into detail design and validation activities on schedule.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional meetings to drive feasibility validation, certification, safety compliance, cost analysis, and related design topics.
  • •Work with program and operations teams and suppliers to release design and build engineering sample lots; support engineering testing and design improvements from results.
  • •Research and explore new manufacturing processes to enhance DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for current and future designs.
  • •Analyze design integrity and functionality using mechanical calculation tools, CAE, dimensional stack-up, and DFMEA; develop prototype models, evaluate and test prototypes, and maintain documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Over 8 years of experience in mechanical product design or implementation, preferably with power tools.
  • •Ability to propose new design and manufacturing concepts and provide solutions to complex mechanical problems.
  • •Experience with 3D/2D drawings and design calculations, with CATIA preferred.
  • •Familiarity with GD&T, dimensional stack-up, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
