Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define the roadmap for CI/CD and internal platform engineering, aligning technical initiatives with business goals to scale infrastructure ahead of customers
  • •Team Empowerment & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and grow a world-class team of System Development Engineers, removing blockers and promoting a culture of everything-as-code
  • •Platform Management: Drive strategy for internal tools, APIs, and dashboards to provide a frictionless self-service experience for global software teams
  • •Operational Excellence & Reliability: Oversee distributed systems stability and RCA-driven permanent improvements across platforms
  • •Ecosystem Governance: Direct the implementation of telemetry and observability to provide data-driven insights for high-stakes decision-making
  • •Security & Compliance Stewardship: Ensure systems meet strict global cybersecurity standards and maintain trust with international customers
  • •Resource & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Cloud leadership to synchronize development across Avigilon/Unity, Pelco, and Alta portfolios

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in system development, SRE, or DevOps, with at least 3+ years in a formal leadership or management role
  • •Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects or internal developer platforms
  • •Architectural Fluency: strong understanding of Linux, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/3), and cloud-native architectures
  • •Development Mindset: ability to review and guide development in object-oriented and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, C++)
  • •Operational Maturity: strong experience with IaC (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and modern CI/CD orchestration
