Job Summary

Work hands-on in an asphalt plant environment, helping the crew keep operations running efficiently and safely. You’ll be trained to operate equipment and support production by cleaning the site, assisting truck loading/dumping, performing routine maintenance, and helping maintain the plant and quarry. The role includes pre-shift safety inspections, adherence to DOT/OSHA/MSHA rules, and opportunities for advancement through growth and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow instructions from the Foreperson or Supervisor to complete daily tasks.
•Shovel and rake materials; assist truck drivers with loading and dumping.
•Operate diverse equipment (e.g., power brooms, plate compactors, pipe saws, pumps, jack hammers, vibratory rollers) as trained.
•Support maintenance and repair of plant equipment and perform pre-shift safety inspections.
•Help clean and maintain areas in and around the plant and quarry, and operate bobcat/loaders to stockpile materials as needed.
