Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete the FleeTec Academy paid educational program leading to full-time Diesel & Trailer Technician roles.
  • •Participate in classroom training in Indianapolis and mentored hands-on training in your home market.
  • •Work as a mobile technician assigned a vehicle to perform preventative maintenance and general repairs onsite at customer locations.
  • •Work with a lead technician during mentorship and continue further classroom study as part of the multi-year path.
  • •Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA pre-employment screening requirements prior to employment.

Key Requirements

  • •Be willing to study hard and complete dedicated training time away from home (5 weeks classroom plus additional weeks of mentorship and classroom).
  • •Dedicate about 10 weeks away from home for the program and demonstrate maturity to focus on career development.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical, with a valid DOT medical card meeting the required timeline (if applicable).
  • •Be at least 21 years old and have a current, valid driver’s license for your state of residence; obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Operate an iPad and have technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles; high-school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
