Job Summary

Support commercial loan servicing for business and commercial lines of business by researching and applying relevant laws and regulations. Serve as a subject matter expert within the Commercial Lending and Deposits Compliance team under Compliance Risk Management, providing consultative advice, independent review, and oversight of processes and controls. Identify compliance gaps and propose improvements, perform impact analyses for new regulations, assist with compliance exams, and help manage issues and risk-mitigating projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide loan servicing support by researching, interpreting, and assisting with applying applicable laws and regulations.
•Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned lines of business, offering consultative advice and independent review and challenge.
•Perform oversight and monitoring of line of business processes and controls, identifying improvement opportunities and control gaps.
•Keep abreast of new laws and regulations and conduct impact and gap analyses as applicable.
•Assist with regulatory compliance exams, issues management and resolution, and participate in or lead risk-mitigating projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•3–5 years of experience as a financial services compliance professional, bank regulator, or comparable legal experience.
•Knowledge of loan servicing regulatory requirements and operational processes supporting business and commercial loan servicing.
•Experience applying and interpreting SCRA, FCRA, ECOA, UDAP/UDAAP, and relevant state and commercial banking laws and regulations.
•Strong research, analytical/problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and attention to detail; able to work in a team environment.
