Maintain and troubleshoot SOF-specific MH-60M aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including communications, navigation, weapons, and survivability equipment. Repair and replace aircraft wiring and components, diagnose electrical system issues using technical publications and IETMS, and use multi-meters and avionic test sets. Read schematics and maintenance data to determine repair methods, complete required aircraft forms and records, and perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance independently during travel and at home station.

Key Responsibilities

•Repair and replace aircraft wiring and components and troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems using technical publications and IETMS.
•Use a multi-meter and other avionic test sets to maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems.
•Read schematics and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical/engineering data to determine repair methods.
•Work independently during travel and while performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at home station.
•Complete administrative actions, including aircraft forms and records, using organizational systems.

Key Requirements

•Must be a U.S. citizen.
•Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
•6+ years of experience in rotary-wing aviation (two years of SOF experience desirable).
•Ability to travel 1–2 weeks at a time supporting TDY assignments.
•Experience using multi-meters and electrical/avionic test sets (able to pass basic solder certification and vision testing).
