Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture, adhering to safety requirements and collaborating with a safety buddy while wearing assigned PPE.
  • •Safely remove materials and fluids (e.g., Freon, power steering fluid, power brake fluid, batteries, excess garbage) and extract components (e.g., gasoline, coolant, waste oil, transfer case oil, catalytic converters) per procedures.
  • •Position vehicles on wheel stands for customer access to sellable parts and restore areas after each vehicle set.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions and harvest cores/wire; operate the tire machine to separate tires from wheels and prepare rims for shipment.
  • •Assist customers as needed; prepare Gaylord boxes and pallets for shipment and complete regulatory and tracking logs while maintaining stormwater control devices.
