Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage with customers in a technical consulting and advisory role during pre-sales, providing technical assistance and strategic guidance.
  • •Deliver executive-level thought leadership on DevSecOps, security, and compliance for strategic public sector opportunities.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with public sector customer leaders such as CISOs, CSOs, CTOs, and chief security architects.
  • •Partner with marketing to develop content and support media engagement that increases awareness of GitLab in the public sector market.
  • •Educate customers on the GitLab platform’s value and support deployment conversations across multiple levels of the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps strategy, application security, and compliance for regulated environments, including risk-based guidance.
  • •Experience selling to, supporting, or working within the public sector.
  • •Ability to create and deliver technical thought leadership content (presentations, demos, written materials) independently.
  • •Working knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and modern engineering and operations practices.
  • •Comfort working fully remotely in a distributed, asynchronous environment and coordinating across time zones.
