Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Produce cost plans and updates, including estimating with design services and general contractor teams.
  • •Reconcile changes, support accurate contractor data, and communicate with contractors and owners to gather status information.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, and change of control processes.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support final accounts negotiation; compile built cost records for benchmarking and mentor/coach talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects with medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with excellent communication skills.
