Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules, project parameters, procedures, and milestones (including CPM and histogram analysis).
  • •Work with the engineering team to support programming and material selection activities related to projects.
  • •Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring forecasted cost at completion.
  • •Support subcontractor RFQs by preparing scope statements, plans/milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners on scope, budgets, performance, close-out, and issue resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer internship (completed at least sophomore/2nd year by start).
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods through coursework, projects, related work, or volunteering.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance with no major/frequent violations (including specified offenses) in the past 3 years.
