Job Summary

Own end-to-end category and merchandise planning for Frames, Sunglasses, Readers, and Accessories. Build and execute category strategies, forecast demand, allocate stock across stores, and improve inventory health and sell-through. Drive sales and margin performance through weekly performance tracking, planograms, and store audits. Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, store managers, vendors, and IT/BI teams to meet commercial KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and execute category strategies tailored to customer demographics and store profile, including introducing new ranges and phasing out underperforming products.
•Create annual/seasonal merchandise plans, forecast demand, allocate stock across stores, and maintain an optimal product mix while minimizing excess inventory.
•Monitor inventory health across categories to improve turn and sell-through, reduce aged/obsolete stock, and manage full product life cycles with vendors.
•Set merchandising guidelines and planograms, ensure consistent in-store presentation, and conduct regular store visits/audits.
•Track sales and category KPIs (e.g., ASP, gross profit, sell-through, stock turn) and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver commercial goals.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in retail merchandising, planning, or category management with a strong commercial and analytical mindset.
•Ideally experience in Optical, Fashion, Beauty, or Specialty Retail, with proven multi-store, multi-category management.
•Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.
•ERP proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) and BI tool proficiency (e.g., Power BI).
•Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills with high attention to detail.
