Job Summary

Design, implement, and support complex VDI and app delivery virtualization environments, handling escalated incidents and critical monitoring alerts. Assess and deliver VDI projects using technologies including Citrix, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Azure Virtual Desktop, while maintaining support documentation and repeatable implementation processes. Provide advanced system configuration guidance, troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure issues, adhere to ITIL/change management practices, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for high-severity events.

Key Responsibilities

•Support escalated incidents and drive resolution for high-severity events within scope of expertise.
•Monitor and respond to critical alerts, including server alerts and system outages.
•Assess and implement complex VDI/App Delivery virtualization projects using multiple technologies.
•Support complex system configurations and standards for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.
•Create and maintain support documentation, work instructions, and knowledge base articles; follow ITIL/change management and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience.
•5+ years of engineering and/or support experience with x86 offerings such as VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix.
•Advanced experience engineering and supporting highly available Citrix environments (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or Citrix DaaS); Citrix certification preferred.
•3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
•Strong knowledge of Windows networking, Active Directory, profile management, and enterprise datacenter technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, SAN/NAS).
